The Webelos
A Webelos Den is the transitioning phase between leaving the Pack and moving into the troop.
Webelos Den is for ages 10-11. If a youth has earned his Arrow of Light, he may then cross over from the Pack into Troop. Once a youth has reached age 11, he ages out of Cub Scouts and into a Troop.
His work in Webelos will center more around outdoors and camping skills. When possible, he should camp with his Webelos Den on Troop outings. This will help establish a connection with his future Scoutmates, as well as see how a Troop functions dirrently on a campout than a Pack functions. Click on the links to learn more about Webelos!
